Arrowhead Yacht Club & Marina, Ketchum, OK Crownline Welcomes New PresidentTo our Valued Dealers: Crownline Boats is announcing today that Dave Fisher, Crownline’s Chief Operating Officer, has been named President and Chief Operating Officer. He will be replacing Kevin Riem who decided to leave the Company for personal reasons. We appreciate Kevin’s contributions to building the Company into a world class operation. Over the last year, our Board of Directors has worked closely with Kevin to broaden the management team and allow Kevin to step down in a transition that is seamless for our dealers, Crownline’s most important partners. During his time with Crownline, Dave has been instrumental in spearheading the implementation of the Crownline Production System, a company-wide initiative that has, and will continue to, improve our quality and operations. Dave will be working closely with the current management team, including Curtis Martin, Vice President of Sales and Customer Service, and Bob Ball, Chief Financial Officer, to help us accomplish our full potential during the challenging economic times facing the marine industry. Crownline’s management team will continue to achieve our short and long term goals by listening and working with our dealer network to improve services, develop industry leading boat designs and ensure a premium quality product. Prior to joining Crownline, Dave worked as a consultant specializing in lean manufacturing with several military and industrial companies. Additionally, Dave brings many years of executive leadership experience across a variety of functions in manufacturing companies. These include Vice President and General Manager of Mueller Canada, a manufacturer of waterworks products; President and Chief Operating Officer of Eagle Precision Technologies, a global designer and manufacturer of computer numerical control machines; and President of Devtek Aerospace, a supplier of landing gear equipment to Boeing, Airbus and the U.S. military. Curtis Martin has extensive experience in the marine industry and deep knowledge of the distribution channel, dealer prospecting, training and new product introduction. He has worked for Bennington Marine and Four Winns Boat Company in such positions as Vice President of Dealer Development, Vice President of Sales and Regional Sales Manager. Bob Ball joined Crownline from Masco Corporation’s wholly-owned subsidiary Aqua Glass Corporation, a fiberglass manufacturer of tub/shower enclosures, where he was President and General Manager. Prior to that, he held a number of executive management positions with several Newell Rubbermaid companies, including Goody Products, Inc., Mirro/Supreme Company and Newell International and Canada.
