Crownline Boats is the fourth largest boat brand in the world in boats that are 18′ to 32′ long and third largest in boats that are 21′ to 32′. Crownline, in conjunction with Gunter Siegel (Crownlines European distributor) did just that on October 9th. The 500 plus Crownline employees were served a catered meal and recognized for being the best boat builders in the world.

If you don’t like to attract attention, you may want to buy something other than Crownline’s new 340 CR. The sleek, sports car style lines are characteristic of Crownline boats, even on this 36′ cruiser. The 340 CR features a deep V-hull design with a 37-degree angle of entry at the bow, cutting through even the roughest water to provide a great ride. The fiberglass hardtop (with ventilation hatch, lights, speakers and stainless steel grab handles) is standard equipment on this model. Boarding is safe and easy, via the swim platform with its eye-catching genuine teak inlay. The cockpit area is entertainment-ready with an impressive array of standard features: cockpit wetbar with sink, refrigerator, blender, trash receptacle and AC/DC outlets; conversation friendly, comfortable aft U-wrap seating and portside lounge; portable table with a designated storage area when not in use and lots of stainless steel cupholders! The 340 CR helm is designed and built for convenience and visibility. The standard woodgrain dash accents and the full wood wheel with catch your eye. The reduced glare gauges feature stainless steel bezels and carry a lifetime warranty. The stereo remote and auxiliary input jack for I-Pod and MP3 players are also conveniently located at the helm. The captain will appreciate the flip-up bolster on the double helm seat when docking, or just when a little better visibility is needed. Molded steps make accessing the foredeck easy, as does the windshield pass-thru vented door.
Don’t let the sleek exterior style lines of the 340 CR fool you, there’s plenty of headroom below deck for even the tallest boaters. It is obvious that style, comfort and convenience were what the designers had in mind when planning the cabin area of this cruiser. The fully equipped galley features a microwave, coffee maker, two-burner stove, refrigerator, beautiful custom cabinetry and custom counter tops are all standard. The head compartment includes a shower with teak wood seat and adjustable head, cabinet / vanity with mirror, Karadon counter top, vacu-flush head with tank level indicator and a screened, opening portlight. There’s a flat screen TV and a Sony Premium stereo with CD / DVD combo, six disc CD changer, amplifier, 8 speakers, MP3 and Atrac3 playback and it is XM and Sirius satellite ready. With its sumptuous sleeping accommodations and tons of storage space, you may never want to go home.
